We're a small game studio in Pennsylvania. We make games for iPhone and look after them ourselves: design, code, art, and the email you get a reply from.
We like games you can finish. Something for the few minutes you actually have, that gives you a reason to come back tomorrow and doesn't spend those minutes asking you for money.
So no banner ads, nothing that interrupts, no timer counting down to a purchase, and nothing that plays worse because you said no.
Frolfy
A daily disc golf game. One course, four holes, the same for everyone. Play your round, keep your streak, come back tomorrow for somewhere new.
Every hole is built out of the day's date. Nobody played it before you, and nobody plays it after today. A round takes about three minutes.
- Seventeen places to play, from a city park to the bottom of a reef.
- Wind, trees, water, and a basket that rattles.
- A locker full of things to find.
- No account, no sign-in, no connection needed.
Hex Stackd
A drop-and-merge hex puzzle, designed by Jake and published by Hoody Studios. Drag stacks onto the board, matching colours jump together, and ten of a colour make one of the next. Coming soon to the App Store.
Rogue Kingdom: Reclamation
A fantasy strategy game for iPhone and iPad, published by Hoody Studios. Build a frontier kingdom, put your people to work, train your troops and survive wave after wave. Free, with no ads and no purchases. Coming soon to the App Store.
We don't run servers. There's nothing to sign up for, and no analytics anywhere in the app. Your scores live on your phone, and in your own iCloud if you're signed in, where we can't read them.
The whole story is in the privacy policy, and Hex Stackd has its own.
hello@hoodystudios.com. Bugs, ideas, or just to tell us a hole was unfair. We read all of it and usually reply within a couple of days.
The support page has the questions we get asked most.
